Arrival and welcome
Start your journey in Rum Village with a warm Bedouin welcome and tea. Meet your guide and prepare for the day’s adventure.

Desert drive and hike
Set off in a Jeep through Wadi Rum’s striking southern landscapes toward the Saudi border. Begin your hike up Jabal Umm ad Dami, Jordan’s highest peak at 1,854 meters (6,083 feet). The guided ascent takes about two hours and offers extraordinary views over Jordan and into Saudi Arabia. At the summit, enjoy a break, take photos, and soak in the silence and vast beauty of the region.

Descent and desert lunch
The hike down takes between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on pace. Your guide will select a scenic rest stop to prepare a freshly cooked lunch over an open fire.

After lunch, continue exploring with a visit to Wadi Sabet, a remote and quiet desert valley White desert rarely visited by most tours—perfect for those seeking solitude and unique scenery.

Camp and evening activities
Arrive at your Bedouin-style camp before sunset and relax on a raised platform with tea and views of the setting sun. Later, enjoy a traditional dinner in the sitting tent, followed by a hands-on nighttime stargazing session.

Sunrise and return
