Discover the best of Wadi Rum with our Two Day One Night Jeep Tour and Jabal Al Hash Hike, combining a full-day jeep tour through Wadi Rum’s most iconic landmarks, an overnight camping experience at a traditional Bedouin camp, and a spectacular mountain hike on day two.
Day 1 – Jeep Tour, Canyon Hike, Desert Camp & Stargazing
Your adventure begins at Rum Village with a welcome tea and your Bedouin guide. The jeep tour takes you to Lawrence’s Spring, where T. E. Lawrence is said to have washed during the 1916 Arab Revolt, followed by the red sand dune at Wadi Umm Ishrin for a fun sandboarding run.
Next comes Khazali Canyon, with its ancient Nabataean and Thamudic inscriptions, then Little Bridge for panoramic views over Khor Al Ajram, and Lawrence’s House, a site with local legends tied to Lawrence of Arabia. At Abu Khashabah Canyon, you’ll leave the jeep for a scenic 30–40 minute hike through the canyon, with another sandboarding stop at the end, before a traditional Bedouin lunch in the desert.
The afternoon continues to Um Fruth Natural Bridge, with its optional five-minute climb, and Chicken Rock, known for its unique shape and sweeping desert views. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the Bedouin camp in time to enjoy sunset tea at the elevated viewing platform, followed by a traditional Zarb dinner. After dinner, your guide leads a stargazing walk away from the camp lights, ending with a peaceful night of camping under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert.
Day 2 – Jabal Al Hash Hiking Adventure
After breakfast, we head south around 8:00–8:30 AM into Wadi Rum’s quieter areas for the highlight of the trip: the Jabal Al Hash hike, a 3–4 hour trek along a mountain ridge led by your Bedouin guide. The route isn’t technically difficult, but requires comfort walking for several hours in a desert setting. From higher ground, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Wadi Rum, Wadi Sabet, Jabal Umm Ad Dami and the mountains of Saudi Arabia.
After descending, your guide prepares lunch at a shaded, scenic spot before the scenic one-hour drive back to Rum Village, where the tour concludes. Whether it’s the canyons and dunes of day one or the mountain views of Jabal Al Hash on day two, this Wadi Rum jeep tour and hiking adventure offers a complete experience of the desert’s landscapes, history and Bedouin culture.
