You will need a 4×4 vehicle to reach the camp itself. We provide transportation from Rum Village.
You can safely park your car for free at our office in Rum Village during your stay.
Yes, absolutely! Solo travelers are welcome.

Yes, we provide clean sheets and thick Bedouin blankets.
Yes, towels are provided.
Yes, there is light and power outlets (Type G) in the tents. In common spaces, you’ll find a mix of Type G and Type A outlets.
Yes, we provide free bottled drinking water for your entire stay.
Tours & Activities
Tours usually start around 10:30 AM from the meeting point or the camp but we are flexible with your request.
We offer half-day and full-day tours. Full-day tours typically last between 7 to 8 hours. We can work with your schedule.
Lunch and water are included in the full-day jeep and hiking tours. Half-day tours include drinking water only.
Sunset times in Wadi Rum vary throughout the year. Generally:
- Winter (November – February): Around 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- Spring (March – May): Around 5:40 PM – 7:20 PM
- Summer (June – August): Around 7:20 PM – 7:40 PM
- Autumn (September – October): Around 6:00 PM – 7:20 PM
For the most accurate time during your visit, we recommend checking a local weather app closer to your travel date.
Sunrise times in Wadi Rum also vary by season. Generally:
- Winter (November – February): Around 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM
- Spring (March – May): Around 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM (note: March can start closer to 6:00 AM, moving earlier into May)
- Summer (June – August): Around 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM
- Autumn (September – October): Around 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM

Dining
Dinner is usually served after sunset:
- In summer around 8:00 PM-8:30 PM
- In winter around 6:30-7:00 pm
If you arrive late we can save food for you, just let us know in advance.
Breakfast is available from 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, allowing you to start your tour or return to Rum Village early.
Yes, we offer a variety of salads, hummus, vegetables, and side dishes without meat.
Yes, we can prepare meals without gluten, lactose, or nuts. Please inform us of any allergies in advance.
General Information
Bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing suitable for desert temperatures, which can vary widely between day and night. Layers are recommended, especially as it can get cold during the night, particularly in winter. A hat, sunglasses, and sturdy walking shoes are also advisable.
The weather in Wadi Rum depends on the season. Summers are hot, and winters can be cold, especially at night. Spring and autumn offer milder temperatures. We recommend checking a weather forecast closer to your travel date.

Only cash payments are accepted. We recommend bringing cash from larger cities like Amman, Petra, or Aqaba, as there are no ATMs in Wadi Rum.
Maps of Wadi Rum are often available at the Visitor Center or can be found online. Your guide will also be familiar with the area.
The Jordan Pass is a sightseeing package that offers prepaid entry to over 40 attractions across Jordan, including Wadi Rum and Petra. It is highly recommended if you plan to visit multiple sites as it can save you a significant amount on entry fees. It usually waives the visa fee to Jordan if you purchase it before arrival and stay for a minimum of three nights (four days) in the country.
